Overview
16.03.19
121 Carlucci Land was a multi-stage music and arts event, catering to 1800 attendees at a steampunk-themed mini-golf course in Wellington, New Zealand.
Creative Brief
Our design approach hinged on two pivotal visual elements. Firstly, the colour orange was chosen to reference the burnt rusted tones that prevailed throughout the venue. Secondly, we utilised abstract shapes to symbolise the amalgamation of junk themed art installations found scattered across the site. This combination formed the core of our creative direction, setting the tone for the event's visual identity.
Role
As the Campaign Lead, I orchestrated the planning and execution of our marketing strategy, formulated the creative brief for branding, and led the recruitment and management of a dynamic creative team to bring our vision to life.
Collaborating alongside co-directors Cameron Morris and Tim Ward, we spearheaded the festival's conception, curation, and management. Our collective efforts encompassed a wide array of responsibilities, spanning HR management, financial control, resource approvals, liquor licensing, and numerous other essential components that contributed to the festival's success.
